Discussion Notes
Stripe & Payments
- Test mode has been working well. Sheri confirmed it looks clear from the customer end.
- Agreed to move to production mode and create 100% off beta coupon "Memorynow26".
- Bert setting up products/prices during the call.
Email Setup
- Sheri has Google Workspace set up with [email protected].
- Will add alias emails (contact@, help@, etc.) - Sheri to choose which ones.
- No need for CRM or support ticketing system yet. Email with folder rules is sufficient for current scale.
- Bert's advice: Don't overcomplicate - build support tooling when the volume demands it, not before.
Print-on-Demand
- Premium tier still needs print book capability figured out.
- Current state: PDF can be downloaded and manually uploaded to a print service (Lulu, Blurb).
- Next step: Sheri to review POD research on Signal page and pick 2 services to test.
- Sheri wants to beta test print quality with her sister's book.
- Bert to provide story point estimate for API integration (Phase 2 feature).
- Key point: Manual upload works today - API integration is a convenience feature, not a blocker.
Site & Navigation
- Sheri was confused about where Signal/docs live (Netlify URL vs sayitnowbook.com).
- Resolution: Move everything to sayitnowbook.com so Sheri has one URL for everything.
- Signal and docs will be moved behind admin login for security.
General
- Sheri confirmed all feedback items from her 2/2 email (price change, refund policy) are the only changes needed.
- Sheri is comfortable with the product and ready to start beta testing once production Stripe is live.
